An animated Sister Corita Kent quote stating, “Consider everything an experiment” presented in a quick and bouncy way to reinforce the meaning. Applied to an Instagram marketing campaign to inspire viewers with a positive attitude. A dark-colored background with light-colored text simplifies the quote with clear hierarchy to establish a quick-read as viewers scroll through Instagram. I used Adobe Illustrator and After Effects for this project.
On the left there are typography and composition ideas. I was experimenting with unusual typefaces and placement. I decided to use Barlow Condensed Family and used a simple color scheme to make sure the message is clear and straightforward. On the right is my original idea storyboard. For the final animation, I took away the lines and instead of text coming from the left, to come from the text "everything" for emphasis.
